We are looking for an experienced and compassionate ADH Program Coordinator to lead the day-to-day operations of our growing Adult Day Health program in Burlington, Massachusetts. Position Summary The ADH Program Coordinator will oversee the daily operations of the facility and work closely with the Program Director, owners, clinical team, staff, clients, families, and outside professionals. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys working with older adults, managing people, solving problems, maintaining regulatory compliance, and ensuring that the program operates safely, efficiently, and with a high standard of care. Key Responsibilities Program & Facility Operations Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Adult Day Health program. Ensure the facility operates in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. Maintain a safe, clean, attractive, and welcoming environment. Coordinate building maintenance and preventative maintenance. Ensure appropriate use of facility resources, including transportation. Client Services Participate in client interviews and admissions in coordination with the nursing team. Coordinate admissions and ensure required documentation is completed accurately and on time. Help develop and maintain individualized client service plans with the nursing team. Monitor the quality of services provided to clients, including services provided by outside providers. Assist with transfers or referrals to more appropriate care settings when necessary. Ensure clients' families, physicians, and other appropriate professionals are kept informed of changes in client needs. Respond professionally and promptly to client and family concerns or complaints. Support the nursing team in addressing clients' general needs and ensuring appropriate accommodations for physical, visual, or auditory limitations. Staff Leadership & Supervision Supervise, support, and provide direction to program staff. Participate in hiring, orientation, training, performance management, discipline, and termination when necessary. Maintain appropriate personnel documentation. Ensure clear responsibilities, appropriate staffing, and effective teamwork. Coordinate staff training and ongoing in-service education. Activities & Quality of Life Oversee the planning and implementation of a holistic social and recreational program. Support activities addressing the social, emotional, spiritual, cognitive, and physical needs of clients. Help create an engaging environment where seniors feel connected, respected, and valued. Compliance & Documentation Ensure client, personnel, and administrative records are accurate and maintained according to regulatory requirements. Monitor compliance with applicable regulations and facility policies. Report unusual incidents and changes in client conditions as required. Follow required procedures for reporting suspected client abuse. Maintain a culture of safety, accountability, privacy, dignity, and respect. Administrative & Financial Responsibilities Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and other business-office functions. Assist with budgets and financial planning. Help ensure the facility operates within established financial guidelines. Provide regular reports and requested information to the Program Director/owners. Participate in marketing and public relations activities to support program growth and maintain a positive community presence. Required/Preferred Qualifications:
At least 2 years of leadership experience . At least 2 years of experience working with adults in a health-care setting , either professionally or as a volunteer. At least 2 years of college education; college degree preferred . Strong leadership and supervisory skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and make appropriate decisions. Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. Ability to recognize, address, and resolve problems appropriately. Understanding of the needs of older adults. Ability to work flexible hours and participate in on-call responsibilities when required. Strong character, professionalism, and personal integrity. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Willingness to learn and participate in required training. Ability to meet applicable state/federal staffing requirements and obtain required clearances or certifications.
