Job Description
Nexus, Inc. is a non-profit Human Service agency serving adults with developmental disabilities in eight 24-hour staffed residential programs. Nexus, Inc. has been in operation since 1972, consistently earning the highest licensing and certification scores which reflect meaningful, engaged, high-quality lives for the individuals we serve. There is a Program Director position open in our home in Burlington serving 5 women. Program Directors at Nexus, Inc. work onsite with one program. The leadership model is one of hands-on understanding of every component required to maintain a fully compliant program and a capacity to demonstrate and delegate these skills to direct care staff. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Ensuring that the individuals have the support they need for health and wellness, meeting or exceeding their ISP goals, social/recreational opportunities, and community access. 24 Hour On-Call Responsibilities for the group home. Ensures compliance with all DDS, MAP and Nexus regulations, policies and directives. Responsible for the hiring, scheduling, training and evaluation of direct care staff. Delegates responsibilities to and supervises completion of assignments by direct care staff. Supervising the management of all program and individual financial accounts. Responsible for staying within staffing budgets. Oversees the repair and maintenance of the home. Coordinates in-service training for direct care staff. Maintains documentation of weekly house meetings and staff meetings. Attends regular meetings with the Administrative staff, including the Board of Directors. Starting salary is $72,722.78 + with health, sick and vacation benefits. 4 years' experience is required. MAP, CPR and First Aid are also required.
