DESCRIPTION
To assist in the coordination of the Community Education Programs to ensure proper instruction and activities for students
REPORTS TO
Childcare Supervisor and Director of Community Education
JOB GOAL
To assist in providing an enriching, exciting, and fun after school experience to the children enrolled in our Chelmsford Community Education Programs, ensuring all participants have a memorable time during any activities provided.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Attend Mandatory Training before Extended Day Starts (TBD)2. Working with children ages Pre-K-6th Grade in a positive and supportive manner.3. Ability to work on the floor, lift over 50 lbs, work in outdoors during all weather conditions, stay on their feet, and other physical requirements as needed. Some programs will be outdoors daily, during the cold, rain or shine.4. Willingness to be trained.5. Accept and Adhere to all guidelines set forth in handbooks. 6. Report all necessary problems and/or information to supervisor/counselor on duty. 7. Assist with the supervision of students. 8. Perform all other related duties as directed or as responsibilities necessitate.9. Attend and complete all required training.10. Perform various instructional, clerical, supportive and other related duties under the direction of the Supervisor.11. Required to work one shift of February or April Vacation weeks.
Terms Of Employment:
1. Positions are part time.2. Hours will vary based on program.
