(CAPIC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve economic stability and self-sufficiency through essential community programs and services. Job Summary CAPIC is seeking an organized and detail-oriented HEAP Program Coordinator to support the daily operations of our Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP). This position assists with application processing, staff coordination, compliance, reporting, quality control, and community outreach. Responsibilities Coordinate daily HEAP workflow and application processing. Maintain program records, databases, trackers, and reports. Monitor applications, documentation, caseloads, and deadlines. Review files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Provide guidance and support to Fuel Assistance Certifiers and administrative staff. Assist with staff onboarding, training, scheduling, and workload coordination. Support program reporting, expense tracking, and funding requirements. Coordinate outreach and maintain relationships with community partners. Ensure compliance with HEAP, LIHEAP, state, federal, and funding requirements. Qualifications Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred. Bachelor's degree is a plus. Experience in fuel assistance, human services, housing, energy programs, or services for low-income populations preferred. Previous lead, coordinator, or supervisory experience preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and administrative skills. Experience with client intake, eligibility, reporting, or database systems preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Bilingual skills are a plus.
