The Latin American Health Alliance (LAHA) is a dedicated non-profit organization based in Central Massachusetts, focused on improving the health and well-being of underserved communities, particularly Latinx population. We provide culturally sensitive addiction recovery services, healthcare access, and educational support. Our mission is to foster long-term health, stability, and empowerment, promoting sustainable solutions for individuals facing significant challenges related to substance use disorders. The Hector Reyes House is a residential recovery program operated by LAHA that provides a safe, structured, and culturally responsive environment where Latino men can build the skills, stability, and support needed for long-term recovery.

What You Will Lead:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following: Provide overall direction for day-to-day operations, services, activities, records, reports, and documentation systems. Ensure alignment with Bureau of Substance Addiction Services (BSAS) requirements and other applicable state, federal, licensing, insurer, accreditation, and quality standards. Lead internal audits and participate in external reviews. Develop, implement, evaluate, and continuously improve program policies, procedures, services, reports, and operating practices. Lead staff training, supervision, development, and accountability while building a collaborative, team-oriented culture. Partner with the Clinical Director to develop and monitor resident activities, programming, and treatment-center events. Oversee the program budget, cost management, and operational decisions that support long-term financial sustainability. Build strong relationships with community organizations, particularly within the local Latino community and Latino-serving agencies. Pursue funding opportunities through grant writing and partnerships. Serve as a primary liaison with BSAS and other regulatory entities, and represent the program with professionalism and credibility. Oversee volunteers that supports resident activities and program events. Help ensure the residential environment is safe, well maintained, responsive, and ready to support high-quality service delivery. What Success Looks Like Trains and assists in the professional development of staff. Ensure daily operations are organized, consistent, responsive, and resident-centered. Maintain that the program remains prepared for licensing, regulatory, insurer, accreditation, and quality reviews. Ensure that Staff receive clear direction, meaningful supervision, effective training, and opportunities to grow. Make certain that policies, documentation, reporting, and internal controls are practical, current, and consistently followed. Guarantee that program resources are managed thoughtfully, with strong attention to budget discipline and sustainability Ensure that LAHA maintains trusted relationships with regulators, community partners, funders, and Latino-serving organizations. The Leader We Are Looking For You are an experienced program or operations leader who is equally comfortable setting direction, solving day-to-day challenges, coaching staff, reviewing documentation, managing competing priorities, and representing an organization externally. You lead with sound judgment, cultural humility, accountability, and respect. You understand that high-quality residential care depends on both strong human relationships and dependable operating systems.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in administration, social work, psychology, or a related field. Demonstrated ability to lead through a team approach and communicate effectively in a multicultural environment. Excellent organization, prioritization, documentation, and follow-through across multiple responsibilities. Ability to build community partnerships and maintain productive professional relationships. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. CPR and First Aid certifications, along with annual tuberculosis (TB) testing documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in administration, social work, psychology, or a related field. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (speaking and writing) Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and experience working with Latino/Latinx communities Strong knowledge of BSAS regulations and program requirements Experience working with culturally responsive care models in Latino communities Spanish Speaking Preferred (but not required) LAHA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
