DDA Program Coordinator Healthy Living Option Inc. | Catonsville, MD About the Role Healthy Living Option Inc. is seeking a dedicated Program Coordinator to oversee licensed residential homes serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In this role, you'll supervise Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), ensure the highest quality of care, and serve as the key link between individuals, their families, and community partners — carrying out all duties in line with the agency's mission, vision, and person-centered philosophy. What You'll Do Oversee the coordination and management of DSPs and day services for individuals in your assigned caseload Ensure services are high-quality, comprehensive, and tailored to each individual's needs, strengths, and preferences Build and maintain strong, respectful relationships with the individuals you support Ensure health and safety standards are met in accordance with COMAR, CMS, Maryland Board of Nursing regulations, accreditation standards, and agency policy Collaborate with area and state agencies, family members, guardians, and medical/mental health providers to support individuals' overall wellbeing Attend and actively participate in annual Person-Centered Plan meetings Partner with the Recruiter to schedule, interview, and hire new staff Manage staff scheduling and ensure proper use of the agency's time management system Ensure timely, accurate documentation across all record-keeping systems, including electronic records Conduct unannounced home visits to monitor quality and compliance Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies Provide 24/7 on-call support for assigned homes Perform other administrative duties as assigned What We're Looking For Associate's degree required (Bachelor's degree preferred) Minimum 2 years of experience in the developmental disabilities field At least 1 year of supervisory experience Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and an acceptable driving record (per agency automobile insurance requirements) Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Comfortable using computers and standard office/record-keeping software Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and handle on-call responsibilities Why Join Healthy Living Option Inc.
