We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a high-performing team supporting the Project Manager, Soldier Medical Directorate (PM SMD) at Fort Detrick, Maryland . Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily with the COR to ensure all tasks are executed efficiently, accurately, on time, and in full compliance with contract requirements. Develop operational plans, life‑cycle reviews, impact assessments, and policy documents supporting PM SMD mission objectives. Manage all contract deliverables (CDRLs) , including Monthly Progress Reports (MPR), Quarterly Program Reviews, Program Management Plan (PMP), Quality Control Plan (QCP), Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP), Monthly Fielding Analysis Report Oversee subcontractor performance , corrective action plans, customer satisfaction, and ethical compliance. Manage the Army Training System (ATS) recommendation process and ensure timely, accurate submissions. Ensure integration of information management practices and Army automation systems , including data accuracy, system compliance, and reporting. Support materiel fielding operations , medical logistics coordination, and stakeholder engagement across Army units and PM SMD partners.
Required Qualifications:
Clearance Status:
Active Secret Bachelor's degree in business, Logistics, Management, or related field (Master's preferred). 10+ years of program management experience , including 5+ years supporting PEO Soldier, PM SMD, or medlog Demonstrated success managing contracts with 30+ FTEs and fielding/LNO components Expert-level knowledge of GCSS‑Army, TEWLS, AESIP, and SRM . Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and multi‑tasking skills.
Certifications:
PMP or DAU Program Management Level III (required), LOG 0140 (preferred)
Preferred Experience:
Prior CTM experience supporting FID, PM SMD, or similar Army medical readiness contracts. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification. Experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams in a government acquisition or logistics environment.
