Job Description

Mid-Level Insider Threat Analyst
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Collects and analyzes policy and disparate information to assist NNSA Insider Protection Program Manager and NNSA Local Insider Threat Working Groups in preventing, detecting, and responding to insider activity in accordance with DOE and national Level insider threat guidance.
  • Formulates NNSA policy positions to provide NNSA enterprise-wide insider threat risk mitigation strategies to better integrate DOE ITP responsibilities, ensuring that the DSO can centrally manage all aspects of the ITP. Develops strategies for accessing data for insider threat analysis from multiple sources.
  • Developing processes to track actions taken in response to ?
ndings and recommendations
NNSA ITP
receives from independent assessments and provide coordinate NNSA input to DOE ITP annual reports to include actions ITP has taken to address program assessment ?ndings and recommendation
NNSA ICW
with contracting o?cers, to ensure contractor speci?c ITP responsibilities are clearly stated and consistently applied across sites.
  • Work with ITP stakeholders to assess the programs human, ?
nancial and technical resources and make recommendations identify all departmental resources that support the ITP.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 7 years' experience in cybersecurity or security related ?eld
  • 1 years' experience supporting a federal agency or cleared federal contractor Insider Threat program
  • Obtain within 1 year:
  • CERT Insider Threat Program Manager Certi?cate
  • CERT Insider Risk Management Measures of E?ectiveness Certi?cate
  • Certi?ed Counter-Insider Threat Professional (Fundamentals & Analysis)
  • A bachelor's degree or similar credential may be substituted for 4 years of experience
  • Active Q or TS clearance w/ SCI eligibility or Favorably adjudicated Tier V personnel security background investigation not more than 4.
5 years from proposed entry onto contract
LOCATION
This is a full-time on-site position in Germantown, MD with 20% travel.
SALARY:
Salaries are determined based on several factors including external market data, internal equity, and the candidate's related knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position. The salary range for this position is $150K to $165K. Benefits MELE Offers
