• Full-time About the Role The Robert W.

Johnson Community Center is seeking a full-time Program Director to lead daily operations and build sustainable programs that serve the community. This role will oversee all programming, including leading operations of the community pool during the summer season, and will be responsible for growing year-round programming and engagement. This is a leadership role focused on execution, accountability, and growth. Core Responsibilities Operations and Leadership oversee daily operations of RWJCC programs supervise staff, seasonal employees, and youth workers manage schedules, staffing, and coverage establish and maintain operational systems Program Development develop and implement community programs expand youth, wellness, and educational offerings identify and launch revenue-generating programs Community Engagement serve as a visible and reliable presence at the Center build relationships with families and community partners support outreach and participation Financial and Administrative Oversight manage program budgets and track performance oversee registration, attendance, and reporting ensure alignment with grant requirements Summer Pool Responsibilities serve as on-site operational lead (non-aquatics) oversee admissions, concessions, and guest experience supervise seasonal staff and youth workers coordinate with YMCA on daily operations Reports to Paula Jackson(Vice President/Program Committee chair) Qualifications prior leadership or program management experience strong organizational and problem-solving skills ability to manage and hold staff accountable strong communication skills reliable and consistent Preferred nonprofit or community center experience experience managing youth programs experience overseeing seasonal staf
