TBD Education, Experience, and Minimum Requirement:
Bachelor's degree required. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in program development. Minimum 2 years of experience working with children of diverse ages.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the enrichment program, ensuring children's safety and compliance with federal, state, county, and school policies. Maintain clean, safe, and well-equipped facilities; ensure staff professionalism and respect toward students and parents. Maintain accurate, confidential records for students, parents, and program operations. Develop master program schedules, including snack, homework, and activity times. Plan and implement activities that meet children's physical, intellectual, and social needs. Provide necessary equipment and materials to enrichment staff. Establish routines and positive guidance strategies; implement discipline when needed. Monitor student attendance and check-in/out records daily. Recruit, hire, supervise, coach, and evaluate enrichment staff performance. Conduct regular staff meetings and provide ongoing support to staff. Communicate program expectations, activities, fees, and policies to parents regularly. Evaluate program effectiveness and make necessary improvements. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of child development theories, legislation, policies, and procedures. Strong human resource and supervisory skills. Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Strong team building, verbal, and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Understanding of cultural diversity and the ability to work effectively in diverse environments.
