Job Description
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide overall program leadership and oversight to ensure successful delivery of program objectives.
- Manage program scope, schedule, budget, risks, and performance metrics.
- Coordinate and collaborate with client leadership, project teams, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain governance structures, reporting processes, and program controls.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance reporting to support informed decision-making.
- Lead risk identification, mitigation planning, and issue resolution activities.
- Facilitate communication among stakeholders and support consensus-building across diverse groups.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, policies, procedures, and contractual requirements.
- Oversee consultant and contractor performance to ensure quality and timely delivery of services.
- Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and program updates for client and leadership teams.
- Support strategic planning initiatives and continuous improvement efforts throughout the program lifecycle. Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Planning, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent program/project management certification preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience managing large, complex programs or projects.
- Demonstrated experience with program management, stakeholder engagement, and risk management.
- Strong knowledge of project controls, budgeting, scheduling, and performance management.
- Experience developing and managing key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting frameworks.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and service providers.
- Experience working with public-sector clients, government agencies, or municipal programs is highly preferred.
- Experience overseeing facilities, infrastructure, capital improvement, or operational programs is preferred.
- Consulting experience is preferred.
