About the Opportunity This is an open position with FirstEnergy Service Company, a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Williamsport, MD. Summary This position is accountable for the implementation and performance of the EV Driven program for Potomac Edison in the state of Maryland. The analyst will manage multiple interrelated projects for the program and ensure they align with the strategic goals of the program while managing program risks and be the point of contact for vendors and other internal and external resources.
Responsibilities include:
Crafting, communicating and implementing program objectives and strategies. Managing multiple, related projects and project interdependencies Planning for change and risks across all projects in the program Creating and maintaining program documentation Developing and implementing customer outreach materials and related marketing strategies Monitoring and reporting on projects' progress and changes Developing, defining and measuring program success according to KPIs Organizing programs and activities in accordance with the organization's mission and goals Developing new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization Consistently creating and implementing process improvements for the program Creating and managing long-term goals Developing a budget and operating plan for the program Developing an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement Serve as a key resource to coworkers in Customer Engagement, External Affairs, Customer Accounts, Engineering and State Operating Company leadership. Identifying and resolving problems before they become major issues. Serving as a trusted energy advisor to promote beneficial energy efficiency and electrification applications. Actively seeking and sharing knowledge of industry trends, competitors, etc., that affect FirstEnergy. Assume other duties and special assignments as necessary, including assisting in storm duty.
Qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, marketing or related, advanced degree preferred 11 - 15 years related work experience is required with emphasis on demonstrated problem-solving and program management Exceptional relationship management, leadership and teamwork skills; Excellent written and oral communication skills Knowledge of electric utility operations and business practices preferred Demonstrated ability to function with minimum direction using a broad range of discretion to meet strategic objectives Able to work extended hours, particularly during storms, with little notice is required Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) and experience with Microsoft Outlook as well as GIS systems..
