Job Description

OHI is currently looking to hire the Manager of OHI Academy, if you meet the qualifications, please apply or reach out to our Recruitment Manager with any questions.
Compensation range:
$55,000.00-$60,000.00 Competitive benefits Position Summary The Manager of OHI Academy leads OHI Academy's Team, including but not limited to an Instructor, a Registered Nurse Educator, and oversees internal and external training programs and all marketing of OHI Academy services. Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • At least four years of experience in mental health/intellectual and developmental disability services, including leadership, supervision, fiscal, and administrative responsibility
  • At least four years of prior teaching experience; business, marketing, or advertising experience preferred
  • Certification (or ability to obtain) in College of Direct Support, College of Direct Support for Managers, Mental Health Support Specialist, CPR/First Aid, and Personal Support Specialist, MHHS Train the Trainer, CPR Train the Trainer and any other identified trainings as needed.
  • Must be an approved OHI driver
  • Strong fiscal management, budgeting, group-facilitation, and public-speaking skills Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise all members of the OHI Academy team
  • Oversee development, marketing, and delivery of internal and external training programs; grow the external customer base and revenue
  • Ensure training programs comply with licensing rules and state/federal law
  • Manage the OHI Academy budget and fiscal paperwork
  • Facilitate team meetings, staff development, and performance management for direct reports
  • Maintain compliance with confidentiality, HIPAA/HITECH, and records-retention requirements
  • Network and stay current on state and federal training/certification requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned Physical Requirements Ability to run, squat, stoop/bend, kneel, climb stairs, lift at least 50 pounds, and implement physical/non-physical interventions when needed; adequate vision, hearing, reading, and writing ability; sufficient stamina for extended work periods; and a flexible schedule.
