The Meijer Store Support Internship Program will provide college students with a well-rounded retail educational experience providing an opportunity for an Intern to lead a project impacting the customer or Team Member experience. At the end of the Store Support Internship Program students will be able to: Develop competencies in key areas of research, leadership and presentation skills Have a clear and concise understanding of store support operations The intern may also get exposure to other activities of the function, including:Store Operations Store Support Training Store Fulfillment Qualifications :
The Meijer Store Support Internship Program is an experiential education program designed for students currently enrolled in an academic degree program, who are considering future careers in this exciting field. Progress toward a Bachelor's degree in Management, Operations, or related field Prior experience in Retail or customer service strongly preferred Past leadership responsibilities in work or extracurricular activities preferred Passion for Retail or Customer Service and a desire to enter a career supporting retail stores Drive for results- is action oriented and has focus on the financial impact of their projects Customer focus

- experience with digital devices, applications, and analytics to access and manage information Relationship Skills
