Acts as the primary liaison to Delta Dental Partner Plans and Affiliates in order to meet the expectations and requirements of assigned clients; including account support, relationship building, reporting, quality service delivery, and program strategy.Primary Job Responsibilities:
Leads the resolution of complex service needs and ongoing requests, ensuring adequate and timely solutions. Engages with internal and external contacts to review, assess, solution, and deliver strategic, high-performing results that achieve business goals in alignment with the Government Programs business model. Acts in a consultative role to provide ongoing training and education to partners regarding new value-add service offerings, market updates, innovative benefit approaches, and retention-based strategies. Oversees the organization, coordination and preparation of activities related to business development, bids/RFPs, implementations, renewals, and performance reviews. Builds and maintains relationships with key decision-making individuals to ensure retention of current client base and development of new opportunities. This includes regular engagement via individual calls, meetings, conferences, etc. Monitors and evaluates assigned book-of-business to ensure business strategies are deployed appropriately to meet government program financial objectives. Collaborates, trains, and provides guidance to Government Program Sales & Account Management support roles; ensuring overall success of Partner Engagement team. Participates in business and professional organizations to develop relationships and improve knowledge. Perform other related assigned duties as necessary to complete the Primary Job Responsibilities as described above. #LI-Hybrid Minimum Requirements:
Position requires a bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field and seven years of experience in sales, services of large group accounts, or insurance contract language. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. Position requires the ability to analyze and resolve problems; use independent judgment and communicate effectively with internal and external contacts. Operation of a motor vehicle is necessary to properly implement and service groups.
