Job Description:

APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with a growing and innovative manufacturing company in the Metro Detroit area looking to add a Program Manager to their team. This role will be responsible for leading programs from concept through launch while working cross-functionally to ensure timelines, quality standards, and customer expectations are met. What's in it for you: Competitive salary based on experience Direct hire opportunity Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits 401(k) with company match Paid vacation and holidays Opportunity to work on high-visibility automotive programs Collaborative, team-oriented environment What your day will look like: Lead and manage multiple programs from initial concept through production launch Coordinate and drive the APQP process, ensuring all milestones and deliverables are met Develop and maintain detailed project timelines and resource plans Evaluate feasibility of new program opportunities and support early-stage planning Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, production, and external partners Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring all technical and program requirements are achieved Prepare and manage documentation including PPAP, PFMEA, control plans, and work instructions Monitor program performance, identify risks, and implement solutions to stay on track Drive continuous improvement initiatives across programs Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget What we are looking for: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Mechanical or Chemical preferred) 5+ years of experience in program management within automotive manufacturing Strong understanding of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and

IATF 16949

standards Experience working with manufacturing processes such as tooling, molding, finishing, or similar production environments Ability to manage multiple programs in a fast-paced setting Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar) Experience with data analysis and program reporting At Apex, we actively encourage applications from underrepresented groups.
