Job Description This position serves as a project lead for the Great Lakes Homeland Security Training Conference and Expo (GLHSTCE), assigning tasks, managing deadlines, and ensuring success of the event. Serves as the outreach coordinator for the Pet Preparedness Program and outreach lead for Severe Weather, Winter Hazards, and Emergency Management Month Campaigns analyzing various metrics and data points to evaluate performance, identify areas for improvement, and increase awareness through strategic social messaging. Attend outreach events with various internal and external partners, sharing information and education on MIREADY, Michigan's Preparedness Program. Provide support to the division during activation of the State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) for disaster or emergency drills, exercises, and actual events which may occur after hours, weekends, and/or holidays.
