SUMMARY:
The Enrichment Leader•Out-of-School Time Greeter, supports Kids & Company and Youth Enrichment programming staff by monitoring student arrivals and departures, supervising transitions, and assisting with daily routines. This role ensures students are accounted for at all times, supports structured check-in and dismissal procedures, and provides general assistance to program staff. Work is guided by established routines and direction from Kids & Company and Youth enrichment leadership. This position plays an essential role in safety and supervision during high-traffic program times.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
This class specification lists the major duties and requirements of the job and is not all-inclusive. Incumbent(s) may be expected to perform job-related duties other than those contained in this document and may be required to have specific job-related knowledge and skills. Student Supervision & Safety Greet students and families during program arrival and dismissal. Monitor entry points and designated student areas. Verify student sign-in and sign-out with authorized adults. Track attendance and communicate discrepancies to supervisors immediately. Escort and transition students between school, Kids & Company rooms, and enrichment classes. Maintain awareness of student location and movement at all times. Support safety protocols and emergency procedures. Program & Administrative Support Follow daily schedules and supervisor direction to support program logistics. Assist with maintaining accurate rosters, attendance, and sign-in/out records. Provide routine assistance to site staff including basic clerical tasks. Ensure program spaces are orderly during arrival/dismissal periods. Assist with student reminders and communication notes to families as directed. Family & Staff Communication Provide basic information to families regarding procedures and redirect questions to appropriate staff. Communicate student concerns, safety issues, or behavior incidents to supervisors immediately. Maintain confidentiality of student and family information. Promote a welcoming environment consistent with district values. Professional Conduct Represent the program positively with students, families, and staff. Follow district policies, program guidelines, and licensing requirements. Contribute to a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Preferred Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Experience working with children or in a school/program setting is preferred.
Required Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
Continued employment is contingent upon all required licenses and certificates being maintained in active status without suspension or revocation. First Aid/CPR Certification or ability to obtain upon hire. Valid Driver's License preferred. Required Knowledge and Skills
Required Knowledge:
District policies and procedures. Methods and techniques to assist student safety and supervision within educational and recreational programs. Local community resources, regional community services programs, and regional training programs. Computer applications related to the work. Correct business English, including spelling, grammar and punctuation.
Required Skills:
Maintaining composure and working effectively under classroom conditions. Exercising good judgment in all situations. Operating a personal computer using standard and specialized software. Communicating effectively verbally and in writing. Contributing effectively to the accomplishment of team or work unit goals, objectives and activities. PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in school and childcare program environments, indoors and outdoors Frequent student interaction and active supervision responsibilities Regular before and after school hours; occasional non school day or break period hours as assigned.

SALARY/HOURLY RATE
Pay Range:
$19.79•$25.56 depending on qualifications
HOURS of WORK:
Morning shift: 7:00 AM•9:00 AM (2 hours) Afternoon shift: 3:30 PM•6:00 PM (2.5 hours) Total worked hours per day: 4.5 hours(hours maybe adjusted depending on arrival/departure of students Summer work locations are Eisenhower/Glen Lake/Meadowbrook/North Middle School Position specific Benefits information is available HERE Union Contracts, Position Handbook/Agreements are located HERE
