This role supports licensing compliance, program quality, staff development, and overall satisfaction among the individuals we support and their care teams. Key Responsibilities Oversee community-based service programs and ensure compliance with applicable 245D licensing standards, rules, and regulations. Support Community Support Specialists and other program staff by providing training, supervision, performance feedback, documentation, and corrective action when needed. Maintain accurate documentation for incidents, emergencies, internal reviews, Behavioral Intervention Reporting Forms, and other required program records. Monitor program quality by reviewing data, reports, service delivery practices, and outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement. Promote effective, person-centered services that support the independence, stability, and satisfaction of individuals served and their care teams. Lead regular management meetings and support communication, accountability, and consistency across the team. Collaborate with staff and support teams to resolve concerns, strengthen service delivery, and maintain high-quality program operations. Perform other duties as assigned to support program needs and organizational goals. Qualifications The Program Director must meet one of the following minimum qualifications: Bachelorette degree in a human services-related field and one year of full-time experience providing direct care services to individuals with disabilities or age 65 and older. Associate degree in a human services-related field and two years of full-time experience providing direct care services to individuals with disabilities or age 65 and older. Diploma in a human services-related field from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years of full-time experience providing direct care services to individuals with disabilities or age 65 and older At least 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities, plus four years of full-time experience providing direct care services to individuals with disabilities or age 65 and older In addition, the Program Director must be competent to perform the required duties and have at least five years of supervisory-level experience in a program that provides direct support services to individuals with disabilities or age 65 and older. Preferred Qualifications Experience with 245D services, waiver services, or community-based disability services Strong leadership, coaching, documentation, and organizational skills. Ability to build positive relationships with staff, individuals, families, case managers, and community partners. Knowledge of person-centered planning and service coordination practices. Working Conditions This position requires working in a variety of settings. Time may be spent in the office, traveling to program sites, meeting with the people supported, attending conferences, and providing supervision to Community Support Specialist. Physical Requirements Ability to successfully complete the skills portion of Positive Behavior Support training. Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds. Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time as needed. Ability to easily access the community for house visits.
