Job Description

Open Circle of Princeton is hiring a Lead Program Coordinator to join our compassionate team at our adult day program. This full-time position is Monday through Friday with NO evenings, weekends, on-call or holiday shifts! You will help enrich the lives of older adults through engaging activities, community connections, and person-centered care. As the Lead Program Coordinator , you'll plan, implement and facilitate therapeutic programs such as arts and crafts, music, word games, and more•bringing joy and connection to the lives of our adult participants, including those living with dementia. 8:00 am•4:30 pm (Monday•Friday)
Pay:
$21•$23 per hour depending on experience

Lead Program Coordinator Responsibilities:
Help each member reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence. Prepare, implement, clean up, and evaluate assigned daily programs for members. Daily programs include activities such as table games, arts and crafts, word games/ trivia, music and more! Plan and implement all aspect of assigned community outings; schedule and coordinate transportation. Responsible for assigning staff to daily programs. Display an attitude of courtesy and respect for all members, families, and staff. Update social workers and case managers on members' progress, needs, and/or changes of behaviors. Perform additional tasks as needed, including occasional bus driving.
Lead Program Coordinator Qualifications:
Formal training and/or licensure in health care or social service field or Bachelor's degree in human services, recreational therapy or related field or equivalent experience required. Successful experience working with older adults and/or working with persons living with dementia. Dependable, responsible and professional. CPR, First Aid and Medication Administration certifications required within 3 months of hire.
