Responsibilities - What you'll do This position is responsible for applying and monitoring consumer's benefits such as Medicare part B, Medicaid, and
SSDI/SSI.
Maintaining consumer's files of all financial information. Interviewing consumers for financial resources and set rates according to the Standard Means Test. Qualifications - All you need for success In addition to the minimum qualifications listed below a successful candidate should have the knowledge of research methods related to insurance eligibility and the ability to identify and resolve application issues. Attention to detail and accuracy are crucial. Candidates must have a demonstrated record of excellent communication, planning, organization skills and the ability to problem solve and work independently.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have satisfactory performance, no written reprimands within the past 6 months, and no other disciplinary actions during the past 12 months. Adheres to the safety and security policies for the hospital. Embraces the mission, vision, and values of the hospital and shows respect daily.
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of
CIMOR, MO
HealthNet, Cerner EHR systems, FAMIS Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Access 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
