Job Description
Hiring Department Dean's Office - College of Arts, Science and Education Job Description Business support for the Weiner events (invited speakers, workshops, art exhibits) and procurement. This requires availability before 8 am and often after 5 pm on event days, reserving room, food, and coordinating travel, coordinating co-sponsorships across the university, filing contracts and getting people paid. Upkeep of the Weiner website. Working with Marketing to promote events and occasional design of promotional materials. Support of faculty in the public scholars network as they apply for fellowships and residencies. Assistance with booking of research travel. Reconciling research and travel expenses related to the Weiner MoCode. Upkeep of university webpage and the personal public scholarship site. Minimum Qualifications An Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Anticipated Hiring Range The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $17.40-$20.00 per hour. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
