Full-time position (37.5 hours) with Senior Resources of Guilford High Point Meals on
Wheels Coordinator Hours:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 am
  • 5:00 pm (full-time)
Location:
High Point office (Roy B. Culler Senior Center) and Greensboro office (1x/week)
Supervisor:
Director of Nutrition Services Position Overview:
Support of the agency by managing program-related activities, coordinating Meals on Wheels client services, and assisting with community outreach and program operations. This role requires strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily Meals on Wheels distribution at the High Point office.
  • Daily monitoring of Servtracker CXM to confirm all routes are being delivered correctly by volunteers.
  • Reset and clean electronic tablets to ensure they are functioning properly for daily use.
  • Create, print, and organize Meals on Wheels paperwork for volunteers and clients, including menus, consumer contribution letters, organization updates, and educational handouts.
  • Recruit new volunteers through community presentations, flyers, and social media to ensure route coverage.
  • Train new volunteers and provide support to current volunteers at the High Point office or their organization site.
  • Gather all volunteer information on each individual volunteer, add information in Scheduler, and educate volunteers on MOWScheduler usage.
  • Work as a team with leaders of volunteer groups to receive their route lists, enter the volunteers into MOWScheduler, and fill any open routes.
  • Assist in planning the High Point volunteer appreciation event.
  • Contact new and current High Point Meals on Wheels clients to schedule initial assessments and reassessments.
  • Complete all chart entries and Servtracker entries for new and current clients.
  • Add new clients to Servtracker as assessments are completed, and updated reassessments as they are completed.
  • Work 1:00
  • 5:00 pm on Wednesdays in the Greensboro office completing any necessary paperwork, gathering necessary items, meet with Nutrition team, etc. to help productivity in the High Point office.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Experience/Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work
  • Experience working with older adults and/or volunteers preferred
  • Experience with non-profit or human services agencies preferred
Job Type:

$37,000.00
  • $43,000.
