Job Description
Head Start Program Manager (Site Officer) Blue Valley Community Action is seeking a Site Officer to provide leadership and support to center supervisors and ensure high-quality services for children and families in our Head Start program. This role helps guide center operations, staff development, and program compliance while promoting a supportive, collaborative culture for staff and families. Why Join Blue Valley Community Action? Key Responsibilities Supervise and support center supervisors, including reflective supervision, performance evaluations, and coaching. Oversee center operations to ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, licensing regulations, and agency policies. Conduct regular site visits, observations, and meetings with supervisors. Mentor supervisors to strengthen leadership, staff support, and team culture. Support supervisors in personnel management, volunteer coordination, and problem solving. Partner with the Professional Development Team to support training and workforce development. Provide training, onboarding, and technical assistance to center supervisors. Collaborate with service area leaders to monitor program performance and continuous improvement. Maintain documentation, reports, and required program records. Foster a welcoming, inclusive environment for families, staff, and community partners.
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or GED Minimum 3 years of management experience supervising multiple staff Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Access to an insured vehicle for travel between sites Ability to pass required background checks Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certificationPreferred:
