1715 Izard St Position type: Full time (36-40 hours per week) hourly, with some scheduling flexibility Job Overview The Conference Liaison reports to and works closely with the Conference and Outreach Director to strengthen and support the work of Society of St. Vincent de Paul Omaha Conferences. This position serves as a primary connection between Conferences and the District Office, ensuring effective communication, operational support, and compliance with Society policies and procedures. The Conference Liaison provides guidance and training to assigned Conferences while helping promote consistent practices, accurate reporting, and effective neighbor assistance across the organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conference Support and Relationship Management Partner with the Conference and Outreach Director to develop and implement strategies that strengthen relationships and engagement with Conferences. Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned Conferences regarding District Office support and communication. Support Conferences in understanding and following Society policies, procedures, and operational expectations. Promote collaboration and information sharing between Conferences and District Office staff. Coordinate and facilitate ServWare training for assigned Conferences. Develop, document, and maintain best practices related to ServWare usage and Annual Report completion. Work closely with the Director of Operations and Conference Support team to ensure accuracy and timeliness of Conference assistance requests. Serve as the primary contact for Ozanam Outreach and ServWare questions and support. Coordinate and support the Annual Reporting process for assigned Conferences through the National Society of St. Vincent de Paul reporting platform. Helpline Assist in overseeing Help Line volunteers to maintain adequate staffing and ensure requests are addressed efficiently and promptly. Support day-to-day Help Line operations and maintain efficient processes and workflow. Assist with onboarding and training Help Line volunteers. Enter and maintain accurate neighbor information and supporting documentation in required databases. Monitor Help Line tracking systems to ensure requests and responses are recorded promptly. Provide status updates to neighbors, volunteers, landlords, utility companies, and Conferences. Answer Help Line requests during volunteer schedule gaps when occurring during office hours. Troubleshoot minor technology issues for Help Line volunteers during office hours. Ensure non-conference requests are completed in a timely manner Additional Responsibilities Prepare and submit timely reports related to assigned responsibilities. Attend required meetings, trainings, and organizational events. Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission and operations of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Omaha. Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Social Services, or a related field preferred. Experience working with volunteers, community organizations, or faith-based organizations preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Technical Skills Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite and database systems. Experience with case management or reporting platforms preferred. Ability to learn and train others on internal systems and processes. Frequent local travel to parish and community locations in the Omaha area. Occasional evenings and weekends are required. Ability to sit for prolonged periods (greater than 50% of the day) and exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to lift or carry items like laptops, documents, and small boxes.
