AIM Institute is looking for an energetic, relationship-driven Program Coordinator to support students through our TRIO Upward Bound program . In this role, you'll work directly with students to help them succeed academically, explore careers, prepare for college, navigate financial aid, and turn their goals into achievable plans. If you enjoy mentoring young people, building relationships, and creating opportunities that can change a student's future, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do Build strong, supportive relationships with Upward Bound students. Provide one-on-one academic, college, and career advising. Help students navigate college applications, FAFSA, scholarships, and financial aid . Recruit, enroll, engage, and retain program participants. Monitor academic progress and help students stay on track toward graduation and college. Create engaging college and career readiness activities. Connect students with colleges, community organizations, scholarships, and other opportunities. Engage parents and families throughout the college-planning process. Coordinate program events, activities, schedules, and resources. Track participation, services, and outcomes to meet TRIO grant requirements . Support federal reporting and program compliance. Supervise and support Program Assistants and volunteers.
What We're Looking For Required:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Community Development, or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in education, youth programming, community outreach, program coordination, or a related area. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Excellent organization and follow-through. Ability to connect with students and families from diverse backgrounds. Comfort working with data, documentation, and program reporting.
Even Better:
Experience with TRIO, Upward Bound, college access, or youth development programs . Knowledge of college admissions, FAFSA, financial aid, and scholarships.
