POSITION SUMMARY
The Program Manager is responsible for the overall management and delivery of healthcare services for the New Hampshire Dept. of Corrections contract. Serve as the liaison and be responsible for working with NH Department of Corrections, Division of Medical & Forensic Services leadership to resolve issues related to health care delivery. Consult with NH Director of Medical & Forensic Services and site administrators regarding health services issues of an administrative nature. Consult with Chief Medical Officer, Chief Psychiatric Officer, Chief Dental Officer and other clinical operating staff regarding unusual clinical issues of a complex nature, which involve patient management. Responsible for effectively and efficiently managing the state's overall health care delivery system by acting as a liaison between Wexford Health and the NH Department of Corrections; institution administration, department heads, and subordinates. Executes policies and procedures governing staff compliance with health, safety, and security standards within the facilities of his/her contract.
JOB REQUIREMENTS TRAVEL
May be required to travel to any NHDOC facility
LICENSING
Registered Nurse license preferred
EDUCATION
BSN degree preferred or bachelors level in a related field
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of give (5) years management experience Correctional experience a plus. .
