Special Education Program Coordinator (PreK-22) Gorham, NH 03581 Full-time Full-time School Administrative Unit #20GRS Coop School DistrictSchool Year 2026-2027Special Education Program Coordinator (PreK22) The Gorham Randolph Shelburne School District is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Special Education Coordinator (PreKAge 22) to lead and support programming for students with complex disabilities. This is a full-time position focused on ensuring students receive comprehensive, meaningful educational experiences that prepare them for successful post-school transitions.

This role is centered on the development, alignment, and oversight of specialized programming that emphasizes functional academics, community integration, vocational training, and independent living skills. The coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring that students exit Gorham Middle High School equipped with the skills and experiences necessary for a fulfilling and meaningful adult life.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, coordinate, and oversee individualized and program-wide services for students with complex disabilities (PreKAge 22)Align curriculum and programming with best practices in functional, vocational, and transition-focused educationProvide training, coaching, and ongoing support to special education staff, including paraprofessionalsCollaborate closely with multidisciplinary team members, including case managers, Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), Occupational Therapists (OTs), Physical Therapists (PTs), and related service providersSupport transition planning to ensure compliance and high-quality outcomes for students moving to post-secondary environmentsFacilitate effective communication and coordination among staff, families, and community partners

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree requiredNew Hampshire certification in Special Education requiredDemonstrated experience working with students with complex disabilitiesStrong leadership, collaboration, and organizational skillsExperience in program development, staff coaching, and interdisciplinary teamwork preferred
