Full Job Description Description:
Help end hunger in New Hampshire. The New Hampshire Food Bank is currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a SNAP Application Assistance Coordinator. This role assists the SNAP Outreach and Application Assistance Team in the implementation of the Food Bank's SNAP Outreach plan to increase access of the federal food assistance program, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), to eligible NH residents. Responsibilities Coordinate and support theNHFB SNAP
Application Assistance program under the direction of the SNAP Outreach & Application Assistance Lead Coordinator. Help strengthen and expand the program by identifying challenges, opportunities, and process improvements. Manage the application assistance schedule and support clients through all stages of the SNAP application process, including prescreening, appointment coordination, document submission, and follow-up during eligibility determination. Provide accurate SNAP information in the community and help address myths or misconceptions about the program. Record application assistance activities and maintain client and partner data in appropriate databases. Operate referral platforms and provide training to team members as needed. Collect participant and partner testimonials, quotes, and photos to help document program impact. Develop and maintain SNAP resource materials reflecting policy updates and emerging client needs. Lead or support SNAP outreach events as needed.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in social/human services field or an equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience. Valid Driver's License Experience with one on one client support preferred.Equal Opportunity Employer:
