Full Job Description The Youth Program Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and direct implementation of youth programming, ensuring high-quality service delivery, positive youth engagement, and alignment with program goals. This role plays a critical part in supporting youth development, social-emotional learning, and mentoring activities within a community-based setting. Key Responsibilities Program Implementation & Facilitation Facilitate weekly youth program sessions using an established curriculum Support youth engagement, participation, and comprehension of program content Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment Adapt activities to meet the developmental, social, and emotional needs of participants Youth Support & Engagement Build positive, consistent relationships with youth participants Support youth with goal setting, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving Identify youth needs and escalate concerns appropriately to leadership Reinforce positive behavior and social-emotional skill development Program Coordination Track attendance, participation, and program milestones Assist with coordination of guest speakers, mentors, and special events Support logistics for workshops, site visits, and culminating youth showcases Communicate regularly with program leadership regarding progress and challenges Data Collection & Reporting Assist with pre/post assessments, surveys, and outcome tracking Maintain accurate program documentation and participant records Support grant reporting and evaluation requirements Compliance & Safety Adhere to organizational policies, confidentiality standards, and mandated reporting requirements Maintain required background checks (including CARI) and training certifications Uphold non-discrimination, equity, and trauma-informed practices
