Status :
Part-Time Hourly FLSA classification: Non-Exempt Seasonal position to coordinate and facilitate an 8-week leadership summer program for New Brunswick youth between the ages of 14 to 18. Summary of the
Position:
This position is responsible to provide support for the Middlesex County program and program director. Program Coordinator should have a strong knowledge of the day-to-day operations of their program, particularly as it relates to contract compliance, service delivery, and the participants intake/referral process for services. The work has less to do with general office duties than with assisting in the operation or administration of a local program/unit. Position will also perform Advocate duties. Applicant must be dependable, committed, and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in community, school, and home settings. The position offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay, and activity reimbursement. Light Travel throughout community.
Availability:
This is a 8-week, seasonal position
Hourly Rate:
$21.00
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelors or Master's Degree generally preferred; commensurate experience in community-based agency program is acceptable except for programs where the referring authority requires a specific degree. At a minimum, at least one-year previous experience in managing personnel and budgets. Demonstrated communication skills, both oral and written. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience using an electronic health record (EHR) system is a plus. Experience in the provision of home and community-based services. Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage. Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred.
