Job Description

Position Summary:
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Program Coordinator for the 988 Lifeline Services - NJ Hopeline within Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care. Provides administrative leadership and supervision to staff of the 988 Lifeline Services during assigned shift. Provides oversight of all services and ensures compliance with all relevant regulatory standards. Among the key duties of this position are the following: Plans, trains and supervises the work of others engaged in professional and paraprofessional delivery of program specific services. Performs duties relevant to a leadership position and supports goals and objectives of University Behavioral Health Care. Maintains appropriate consumer/caller records as mandated by University Behavioral Health Care policy Serves as liaison within the collaborating agencies, external funding sources, and other departments within RBHS. Meets annual requirements.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Master's Degree in a mental health discipline plus four (4) years post master's experience in behavioral health field.

This position demands standing, walking throughout the program space. Lifting up to 20 lbs. Handles phone requests under time and decision-making pressure. Generally pleasant working conditions in a clean, well-lighted, and quiet to moderately loud setting. Crisis intervention is a common occurrence.
