Job Overview We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic After-School Program Coach to help lead our table tennis enrichment programs in local schools during the school year. This position is ideal for someone looking for consistent part-time work during weekday afternoons, generally between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM. We are especially interested in someone who can be dependable and available on a regular basis throughout the school year, starting this fall. Sports or coaching experience is helpful but not required. Experience playing or coaching table tennis, tennis, pickleball, or another racket sport is a plus. We provide training in our table tennis program, drills, and coaching methods. Responsibilities Coach and engage elementary school students in structured table tennis sessions Follow our program format, lesson plans, drills, and coaching instructions Learn and demonstrate the table tennis skills and activities used in our program Keep sessions organized, active, positive, and enjoyable Lead sessions independently when needed Communicate clearly and professionally with students, school staff, and other coaches Pay close attention to schedules, program procedures, equipment, and other details Help with setup and breakdown of equipment as needed Arrive on time and be dependable for scheduled programs Qualifications Experience working with, teaching, coaching, or supervising children Comfortable managing and engaging groups of elementary-age students Sports or coaching experience is a plus Experience with table tennis, tennis, or another racket sport is a plus, but not required Willing and able to learn the table tennis skills and drills used in our program Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, organized, and able to follow instructions consistently Strong attention to detail Ability to take initiative and lead a session independently when needed Must have a reliable car and transportation Schedule Part-time during the school year Programs generally take place between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM on weekdays We are particularly interested in candidates who can work multiple weekdays, ideally Monday through Friday Once scheduled, we are looking for consistent and dependable availability Hours may vary somewhat depending on the school schedule and program locations To apply, please tell us about your experience working with children, any sports or coaching background, your weekday afternoon availability, and the area where you are located.
