This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a well-established, highly respected nonprofit organization that supports over 30,000 individuals and families each year and helps to create opportunities and positive change in communities throughout Northwestern New Jersey Norwescap Child and Family Resources (CFRS) is seeking a Family Child Care Inspecor in our Warren County, NJ office. Norwescap CFRS is the designated Child Care Resource and Referral Agency for Hunterdon, Sussex and Warren Counties, by the NJ Department of Human Services, Division of Family Development (DFD). Our mission is to empower families and the community through enhancing the quality and accessibility of early education and by providing information and resources to community services. Family Child Care staff ensure effective operations in all aspects of the Family Child Care (FCC) registration program and the Family, Friend and Neighbor (FFN) program as defined by the contract with Department of Health, Division of Family Development, Office of Licensing, and Norwescap policies and procedures.
Essential Functions:
The Care Inspectors:
Maintain all records for Family Child Care (FCC), FCC schedules ensuring that each FCC provider operates in fullcompliancewithallapplicablerequirementsoftheFamily Child Care ManualofRequirements and DFD regulations as well as ensuring that Family Friend and Neighbor (FFN) providers operate in full compliance with DFD regulations. Complete program reports aligned with Division of Family Development and Office of Licensing requirements. Recruit, provide training, monthly orientations, and Technical Assistance to potential FCC providers in order complete the Family Child Care registration. Utilize systems including NJCCIS and Expedite, schedule, and conduct timely home inspections for new or renewing providers, as well as yearly monitoring inspections. Receive, process, and follow through on FCC complaints in the time aligned in the Annex. Develop and present Peer Group and other professional development/training to FCC providers. Facilitate providers' understanding of the EPPIC program. Track providers' CPR/1st Aid expirations and background checks. Collaborate with Child, Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) staff to facilitate site visits to ensure compliance with CACFP program and provide technical assistance to enhance program. Utilize the check in process to ascertain the needs of families and provide appropriate resources and referrals. Participates fully in CCRR duties; educating families, providers, and the community on childcare services, community resources and quality programing through family check-ins, customer service and outreach

Excellent communication skills both written and oral Good organization skills Good-Excellent technology skills Ability to work independently and in a group Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
