Job Description:

Under the general supervision of the Senior Program Manager incumbent will assist in the maintenance of senior services including case management nutrition transportation programming and information and referral. Assist Program Manager with the development and enforcement of departmental policies to ensure compliance with Area Agency on Aging (AAA) and other local state and federal laws. Attends various AAA meetings monitor and provide direction to senior program. Organizes and supervises workshops and activities for senior citizens engaged in the Center's programs and co-sponsored programs. Surveys interest and need of senior citizens. Provides information and referral services for a variety of social services available to seniors. Responsible for all Social Assistance Management System assessments and data input. Responsible for case management duties including assessments care plans progress notes and maintaining client files in accordance with AAA standards.

$30.15 p/h

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in social sciences public administration human services or related field or at least 5 years of supervisory or administrative experience preferably with senior programs A equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in order to meet the requirements listed above Valid Driver's License (state of residence). Must meet City's insurability requirements.
