Job Description
CCA EOU PM
develops and implements acquisition strategies, andleads geographically dispersed Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) made up of subject matter experts from all functional areas. Assisting in the experimentation and sustainment of software for CCA flight simulation including air vehicle and mission autonomy systems as well as additional CCA related software projects. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, operators, maintainers, and analysts, and will have strong problem-solving, adaptability, communication, leadership, and attention to detail skills. This is not a SETA (Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance) position.Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Candidate will work in a collaborative environment focused on experimentation, iteration, and sustainment of CCA flight operations and simulation. Essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:- Coordinate and collaborate with multiple outside agencies including US Government (USG) as well as air vehicle and mission autonomy contract vendors
- Plan the management and acquisition strategy for assigned projects/programs within cost, schedule, and performance baselines as directed by unit leadership.
- Generate specific plans, goals, and objectives consistent with policies and requirements.
- Advise unit leadership of significant actions or problems and recommend solutions.
- Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate activities of functional specialists including contracting, engineering, manufacturing, program control, configuration/data management, test, and logistics.
- Establish management controls such as milestones, expenditure rates, management indicators, and management reviews to reflect program status and provide early detection of emerging problems.
- Represent the organization at executive levels within the Government and to contractor/industry representatives. Participate in conferences and meetings to deliver presentations on project/program status, accomplishments, challenges encountered and anticipated support requirements, and the integration and advocacy of program and project objectives.
- Enter data into spreadsheets and databases, generating reports, and performing basic data analysis.
- Generate clear and concise experimentation reports that summarize the test results and provide recommendations.
- Acquisition and monitoring of construction and building maintenance contracts.
- Acquisition, monitoring and sustainment of complex modelling and simulation environments.
- Coordinate and collaborate with multiple outside agencies including US Government (USG) as well as air vehicle and mission autonomy contract vendors.
- Collaborate with a multi-discipline experimentation team consisting of operators, maintainers, engineers, analysts, and other support personnel.
Required Skills:
Minimum 14 years' experience Minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Program Manager or comparable position Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities This position will require a strong ability and willingness to work in a team environment, with demonstrated leadership, customer interface, and organizational skillsDesired Skills/Experience:
- Minimum of 3+ years of DoD Acquisition experience
- Strong technical project / program management skills
- Knowledge and experience within the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process
- Experience with Systems Integration, Networking, and Cybersecurity/Authority to Operate
- Experience with Information Technology systems
- Ability to manage priorities independently and operate in a fast-paced environment with high demand
- Capable of managing large volumes of data and facilitating sharing of the same, skilled at data analysis and critical thinking.
