Job Description
Lead Innovation. Expand Impact. Advance Opportunity. The Viscardi Center is seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Program Officer (CPO) to join our executive leadership team. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and grow programs that empower people with disabilities to achieve employment, education, community engagement, and cultural initiatives. Reporting to the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, the CPO will provide strategic leadership for Abilities, Inc. programs, the Museum of Disability History, and new business and program development initiatives. The Chief Program Officer will provide executive leadership and oversight of vocational, community-based, and cultural programs while driving innovation and organizational growth. The successful candidate will develop and implement strategies that expand services, strengthen existing programs, and generate sustainable revenue streams. This individual will identify and secure federal, state, and private funding opportunities, oversee grant development efforts, and cultivate strategic partnerships with businesses, government agencies, community organizations, and other stakeholders. The CPO will also work closely with the executive team and management staff to ensure high-quality service delivery, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and long-term program sustainability.
