Job Description

Rehabilitation Support Services, Inc. is seeking a full time Program Director to oversee daily operations of adult residential programs in Orange County. Programs include adult community residences, certified Treatment Apartment Program and Supportive Housing Program. Essential Functions:
1. Supervises managerial and direct service staff. 2. Ensure OMH certification requirements and RSS standards for quality assurances are maintained. 3. Ensure all program policies, practices and procedures are followed. 4. Ensure fiscal viability of programs. 5. Ensure compliance with Human Resources policies and procedures. 6. Ensure the physical premises of all programs and service sites are maintained in a safe, clean and homelike (residential programs) manner. 7. Ensure inter and intra-agency collaborative working relations are established and maintained. 8. Ensure and protect all client civil liberties and rights. Insure staff maintain high standards of conduct and practice in carrying out their responsibilities for the welfare of RSS clients and significant others. 9. Maintain the community orientation of RSS services by the way of developing positive neighborhood, business, and overall public and community relations. 10. Responsible for hiring and training and supervising staff. 11. Develop/monitor on-call system, if applicable. 12. On-call responsibilities. 13. Maintain valid American Red Cross/American Heart Association CPR/First Aid Certification, if applicable. 14. Provide staff trainings. 15. Maintain and protect the confidential nature of all matters related to this position.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in human services with at least 2 years human services experience one of which must be in a supervisory capacity or Master's Degree in human service field with one year supervisory experience. Successful completion of the Justice Center and New York State Office of Children and Families Statewide Central Register Database Active/valid NYS driver's license
Other Duties:
1. Participate in training sessions designed to enhance growth and skill development. 2. Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or other management staff.
Other Requirements:
Valid/Active NYS driver's license Successful completion of background check including Justice Center and New York State Office of Children and Family Services Statewide Central Register Database Check.

$75,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year
