THE LONG ISLAND FIELD IS CURRENTLY LOCATED AT 30 BARRETTS AVE HOLTSVILLE, NY 11742. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE OFFICE WILL BE MOVING TO A NEW LOCATION AT 1600 STEWART AVE WESTBURY, NY 11590. THE NEW OFFICE IS CURRENTLY PROJECTED FOR A DATE TO BE DETERMINED.
The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 05/18/2026. Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 05/18/2026. GS-14 : You qualify at the GS-14 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the majority of the following duties: Independently planning, designing and directing programs, major projects, and initiatives in support of an organization's strategic direction. Designs analyses, evaluates alternatives, and develops new or alternative strategies to improve customer service issues and priorities. Directing staff who perform professional, technical, and administrative work whose primary mission is the administration of immigration benefits and services. Communicating and liaising with leadership and managers at all levels concerning the operations and administrative programs of a field office.
