Job Description

Habilitation Aide at our WATCH Program Cardinal Hayes Home for Children is seeking a Habilitation Aide ! As the Habilitation Aide , you will provide transportation, daily care, training, supervision, and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a Day Habilitation/ Prevocational Day Program . This includes hands-on physical care and/or assistance with activities of daily living, and implementing teaching programs, behavior plans, and habilitation plans to help individuals accomplish their program goals.

Schedule:
Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4 pm
Qualifications:
High school diploma is desired Experience with working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred Must have the physical ability to perform physical interventions if necessary Valid driver's license is required Minimal proficiency in speaking, writing, and reading English What we offer:

Responsibilities:
Develop a positive relationship/rapport with individuals receiving services Provide physical care, including toileting, assisting with hygiene and feeding, and observing health status Implement training programs and promote development toward independence Provide recreational and social development activities Collect and record data accurately and timely Ensure health and safety of individuals Provide a clean and orderly physical environment Attend trainings and staff meetings Come join our supportive, and caring team to help enrich the lives of others!
