Type:
full-time The Program Coordinator supports the daily operations of the Capital Region Furniture Bank and the Feed and Read Program (FAR). These two programs work to eliminate furniture poverty and food insecurity within the capital region. This position supports day-to-day office and warehouse operations of the Furniture Bank, which includes answering phones, data entry, using spreadsheets and Salesforce. The Program Coordinator will be the primary point of contact for the FAR program and is responsible for coordinating program operations, ensuring a positive experience for all volunteers, and keeping accurate records.

Exercise initiative and independent decision-making to ensure continuity of daily operations ? Ability to lift and move 25+ pounds ? Valid New York State driver's license required
Responsibilities:
? Answer phones/voicemails/emails, and maintain referral tracking in a professional manner ? Coordinate daily furniture delivery scheduling, routing, and sales, ensuring efficient and timely operations ? Complete inventory closeouts and ensure records are accurate for month-end reporting ? Maintain communications and coordinate with volunteers, school administration, and the Regional Food Bank to ensure food bags are packed and delivered each week ? Keep accurate records of inventory, expiration dates, and volunteer data ? Maintain an organized, clean, safe, and professional office environment including documents and supplies The ideal candidate appreciates a fast-paced environment that serves our neighbors in need. Our mission is to prevent, reduce, and combat homelessness, hunger, and furniture poverty. Job hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:30 to 4:30 pm, however some early evening hours may be required on occasion.
Compensation:
