PART-TIME EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OPPORTUNITY SALEM NUTRITION CENTER
The Salem United Church of Christ is seeking a Part-time Director to lead the Salem Nutrition Center (SNC), a small non-profit located within the inner loop of the City of Rochester. Founded in 1984, the Salem Nutrition Center is a faith-based ministry serving approximately 900 meals each month, along with distributing clothing and personal hygiene items to individuals in need. SNC is a volunteer-driven program supported by area churches and community organizations.
Position Overview:
The Director oversees the day-to-day operations of the kitchen and dining room, ensuring smooth operations, nutritious meals, a safe environment, and a welcoming experience for guests and volunteers.
Key Responsibilities:
 Lead and support volunteers and part-time paid staff  Oversee food preparation, service, and cleanup  Ensure compliance with health and safety standards  Coordinate opening/closing procedures and certified food safety coverage  Work with the Executive Board on budgeting and attend Board meetings. Service meal days are on Mondays and Tuesdays. On service meal days the Director is expected to be present from approximately 8:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.

12-14
Hours Compensation:
$22/hour
