Overview Job Summary Athletic Haven is seeking an enthusiastic, dependable Basketball Coordinator to help deliver fun, high-quality youth basketball programming throughout the year. This position is perfect for someone passionate about teaching basketball while making a positive impact on kids in our community.

Responsibilities include:

Lead after-school basketball programs (must be available by 3:30p) Organize and supervise our Spring 3v3 Basketball League (3 evenings a week March - May) Coach skill development sessions Create a positive, encouraging environment Teach sportsmanship, teamwork and fundamentals Set up and clean up equipment Communicate professionally with parents and staff

Approximate Schedule:

Fall & Winter= Approximately 5-6 hours per week Spring= Approximately 10-15 hours per week Summer= To be determined Schedule includes: After-school program (4:00-5:00 PM) Evening league play in spring (5:30-8:30 PM) Additional basketball events as needed

Qualifications:

Basketball playing and/or coaching experience Experience working with youth preferred Positive attitude and leadership skills Reliable transportation Strong communication skills Ability to pass a background check

Other:

Pay is $24-$28 per hour (based on experience) This position has the potential to grow into a larger leadership role as Athletic Haven continues to expand its youth basketball programming.
