An Assistant Vocational Coordinator oversees all job coaching services with a focus on employment retention, workplace accommodation, and ongoing participant support. This role ensures participants receive the guidance necessary to maintain successful employment while promoting independence and skill development. The Assistant Vocational Coordinator supervises job coaching staff, coordinates schedules, and ensures documentation and compliance for all supported employment participants.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree is preferred, with a focus in education. Valid and clean New York State driver's license Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD) preferred Reliable personal transportation with proof of insurance and registration Proficiency in computer use Smartphone required for work-related tasks and communicationGenerous Benefits:

$60,000-65,000 (based on experience)What You Will Do:
Oversee daily operations of the supported employment program to ensure effective service delivery. Supervise Job Coaches, providing coaching, performance management, and formal supervision. Lead onboarding, training, and ongoing development of employment staff. Ensure compliance with OPWDD regulations, Medicaid waiver requirements, and agency policies. Monitor staff caseloads and guide person-centered planning for participants. Review and approve Staff Action Plans; ensure timely and accurate documentation. Participate in team and life plan meetings as needed. Build relationships with employers and community partners to expand job opportunities. Support staff in job development, employer outreach, and placement efforts. Conduct audits and submit required reports to maintain service quality and compliance.Work Location:
Nassau and Suffolk Counties, Long Island, NY Work Hours/Schedule:
