POSITION EMS

Program Coordinator |

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The EMS Program Coordinator is responsible for the delivery of quality education that adheres to required curriculum standards and employing effective teaching practices to ensure that all of our learners are the best prepared and equipped for success in their lives. This position also performs duties assigned under the direction and delegation of the Associate Director of Fire and EMS Programming and assists in the coordination of didactic, lab, clinical and/or field internship instruction for EMT and paramedic students. |

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution;

Valid licensure, certification, and/or registrations as required by the Ohio State Board of Education (or any governing body associated with the education programs directed);

Ohio Department of Public Safety Fire and Emergency Services Instructor 2;

Graduate of an approved paramedic program;

Current Ohio licensure as a paramedic;

Minimum of five (5) years working as a paramedic;

Experience working with the Ohio Department of Public Safety/Division of EMS;

Minimum of three (3) years teaching experience instructing paramedic students;

Effective and demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking, analytical, oral and written communication, and organizational skills;

History of strong work record, including good job attendance; and

Documented evidence of acceptable criminal record as required by Ohio law and Board Policy

| SALARY Based upon experience and credentials (Starting at $82,468)
