Are you looking for a part-time or full-time summer position or hoping to get experience working with children/families before heading off to college? Check out our summer program position! We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic individuals to join our team of professionals. Your role will be pivotal in providing support during our summer programs. At Unity Counseling Services, we are dedicated to making a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals and families in our community. Role:
Demonstrate unwavering compassion and empathy toward clients facing various challenges, such as mental health issues, trauma, or life transitions. Foster a safe and non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard, valued, and supported in their journey toward improved well-being. Collaborate with clients to set achievable goals and empower them to overcome obstacles. Utilize your expertise in case management services to collaborate on comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs. Provide basic needs crisis support to clients in distress, ensuring their access to reliable resources. Advocate for clients' rights and access to essential resources within the community. Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions to facilitate positive change and growth in clients' lives. Continuously expand your knowledge and skills through ongoing professional development to stay at the forefront of best practices. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and integrated services for clients. Qualifications Experience working with children/families Strong dedication to ethical practice and client confidentiality. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
