Overview The Mobility Coordinator will play a key role in the development and implementation of a regional mobility management program. This program will focus on expanding and coordinating transportation services for older adults, individuals with disabilities, veterans, and other members of the public. Once established, the program will serve as a vital connection point between community members and available transportation options. This position is funded by a grant provided through the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT). ODOT will provide programmatic oversight for this position while EODD will serve as the employer and maintain day-to-day oversight and supervision. Collaboration with ODOT and other local, regional, state and national mobility programs is a key component of these duties.. Duties Work with different agencies to develop and expand transportation resources.
- Find ways to improve transportation access for people with disabilities and older adults in rural areas.
- Provide one-on-one assistance to individuals to help identify and access available transportation options, resource navigation, and coordination with local providers.
- Create and share information about transportation options through outreach, presentations, and marketing materials. Attend resource and community meetings across the EODD service area.
- Help set up alternative transportation services such as volunteer drivers, ride-sharing, transit training, and ride vouchers.
- Attend meetings, trainings, and conferences both virtually and in-person. Work with other mobility managers across the state.
- This position requires routine travel within the EODD service area as well as occasional in-state and out-of-state travel for conferences and training.
- Maintain appropriate reporting and documentation standards as required by ODOT and EODD.

Responsibilities and tasks will be determined by Statewide Mobility Manager and EODD Executive Director as needed. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in planning, public health, public administration, or another related field preferred. High school diploma/GED plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience may be considered. A combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates competency to perform the work may be substituted.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to pass a background check.
