Job Description
This is a full-time position in Applied Leadership and Management Applied Baccalaureate degree (Applied Leadership AB) that is designed to be offered as a cohort program, with students progressing through the coursework in two years of continuous attendance. Admitted students will have completed an AAS degree. The course schedule meets the needs of working adults through alternative scheduling, hybrid learning, and accelerated courses. The first year of the program focuses on introducing students to key concepts and skills that can be applied across public and private leadership roles, including understanding leadership concepts and how to effectively apply these in the workplace, budget and finance, and entrepreneurial thinking and management. Because students will be entering the cohort from a variety of technical fields, the second year of the program provides the opportunity to work in sector
- specific groups with faculty who have experience in that sector, to engage in work
- based projects, and to apply for credit for prior learning.

- AND•At least 3 years of Leadership or Management experience•AND•Experience teaching in a variety of modalities including face-to-face, remote, hybrid, and/or online Core Competencies Client Focused and Solutions Oriented Confident Presenter and networking ability Creativity and writing skills Organized and strong attention to details Ability to work in a changing environment Computer skills that include proficiency in MS Office suite and experience working with spreadsheets Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with a diverse population of individuals and small businesses in the mid-valley region Sound understanding of the community college learning environment and a commitment to the comprehensive community college mission Demonstrable experience providing culturally responsive instruction Bicultural/multicultural skills sufficient to select appropriate behaviors, values and attitudes within different cultures during interactions with others Preferred Qualifications Doctoral degree from an accredited institution Experience teaching adult learners Bilingual English/Spanish Experience in Marketing, Digital Marketing/Badging and social media
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
This is a 100%, 10-month faculty assignment of the 172 duty days band and grade All positions at Chemeketa are required to be available for work onsite as requested by the college. Requires flexible work schedule to meet program needs, which may include evenings and/or weekends This position may require the use of your personal vehicle for transportation between campus locations If requested, you must supply official transcripts within 30-days of hire Employees must maintain Oregon, Washington or Idaho residency as a condition of employment. Light Work :

PUBLIC SERVICE LOAN FORGIVENESS
Chemeketa Community College is considered a qualifying public employer for the purposes of the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. Through the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program, full-time employees working at the College may qualify for forgiveness of the remaining balance on Direct Loans after 120 qualifying monthly payments under a qualifying repayment plan.
