Job Description
Applicants must reside in Oregon, Idaho, or California. We are an independent insurance agency with offices in Boise and Coeur d'Alene seeking an experienced commercial insurance account manager. The position could be worked remotely by someone in Oregon, Idaho, or California, in-office, or hybrid from our Boise location. Pay will depend on experience, with preference and higher salary opportunities afforded to highly experienced candidates. This is a wonderful place to work! You have at least 3 years of experience as a commercial insurance account manager. You are a strong communicator, naturally detail-oriented, and committed to excellence. You are a self-starter who loves to work independently but also works well on a team. You have a strong desire to excel in your job, love working in partnership with coworkers, and you take pride in providing top-notch service to clients. You have a strong grasp of business insurance coverage and concepts and can dissect workers compensation, commercial property, business auto, inland marine, and general liability insurance policies with skill and confidence. You have a strong history of positive relationships with underwriters and carrier representatives. Working knowledge of Applied Epic strongly preferred. What's the job like? You will work closely with 1-2 of our commercial lines risk advisors. You will develop relationships with your clients by handling renewals, assisting with new business, providing ongoing service, advising on coverage and options, and representing our agency as a best-in-class provider of risk and insurance solutions. Though you have experience, there will still be a learning curve as you get the hang of our procedures, values, and priorities. We bet you've never worked for an agency like ours!
