Eagles Nest Program

TEMP - Eagles Nest Program (Program Participants Only) ️ This position is exclusively for current Eagles Nest Program participants. Purpose The Eagles Nest Program supports individuals ages 18-25 in developing workplace skills and becoming successful employees. This is a 30-day temporary position through UPMC WorkSource, including four weeks of intensive training and hands-on experience at UPMC Hamot. Participants will rotate through areas such as nursing, transport, and environmental services. Participants selected at the end of the program may transition to a full-time role through the internal Talent Acquisition transfer process. Responsibilities Perform routine tasks across multiple hospital departments (e.g., nursing, transport, environmental services) under supervision Assist staff with daily operations and support routine tasks Interact professionally with team members across the organization High school diploma or equivalent required Successful completion of the Bishop Brock orientation program Working knowledge of Microsoft systems Ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff Ability to perform routine tasks under the guidance of senior staff UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran
